What we Buy
Ferrous Scrap in the Fremont, NE area |
|
Our appetite for ferrous scrap metal is enormous. We process and deliver thousands of tons of recyclable scrap iron to consuming mills in the Midwest every month of the year.
Our automobile shredder devours end-of-life vehicles, semi-trailers, farm machinery, tin, appliances and other obsolete scrap metal. We feature twin 2000/ton gravity feed shears that efficiently gobble up oversized material fed by one crane operator. Our lineup also includes a traditional squeeze box shear, that can shear steel wire and other scrap suited for its abilities. Size reduction of what was once large unmanageable scrap is no match for our three Komatsu excavators fitted with metal cutting shears (scissors) that quickly reduce size for further processing. Rounding out our ferrous processing equipment are two large balers for making mill ready spec ferrous bales that are desirable for mills throughout the Midwest. Our shears, baler and shredder are supported by 10 material handling grapple cranes, 10 magnet cranes, multiple wheel loaders, skid loaders, and forklifts. Heavy scrap iron that requires torch cutting is no problem for our staff. Our 65,000-pound capacity forklift can unload heavy items from your truck or trailer safely, and efficiently without damaging the equipment it was brought in on. We've recently expanded our existing rail spur to accommodate an additional 14 cars, this added capacity provides numerous marketing opportunities We offer excellent service, a customer-friendly atmosphere and a clean, organized facility to keep customers coming back. |
